Oregon.... Our First Family Vacation

Ok so I am a little bit behind on my blogging, but I was waiting for the wedding pictures to come back so that I could post that before our trip to Oregon. It was a great trip, we stayed in Klamath Falls, which is beautiful. Mom, Dad, Fred, Wyatt and I all went together in Mom and Dads car, somedays it felt like a tight fit but it was all in all pretty fun to travel all together.

One day we went to Crater Lake, and one day we drove to the Redwoods. Both very amazing and beautiful places. It was nice weather, the day we went to Crater Lake I think we ate lunch in about 50 degrees, it was so cold up there but it was amazing, Wyatt got a chance to play in a little bit of snow and we got some great pictures.

Our trip to the Redwoods was pretty fun, although the drive was a little bit crazy, it was fun. We got to see Paul Bunnion and Babe the big blue ox, and we drove through a tree, there is a video somewhere of dad driving the cadillac thru a tree which I thought was pretty funny.

Then one day we spent the day in Medford, with my beautiful cousin Elise and her family. It was a great day, Wyatt had some other kids to play with and we got to go out to dinner just the adults at this great place that had amazing Pizza, Fred still talks about it.

I have been having serious issues posting pictures so check back later after I have had a chance to add some.

It's COMING FAST!!

As my wedding day gets closer and things are starting to fall into place and the rest of the plans are finalized I can't wait. I am so EXCITED!!!! At church today everything that was talking about was Eternal Marriage, our Bishop gave an amazing lesson on Marriage and Divorce in our joint Relief Society and Priesthood meeting today and it was all centered around a talk the Elder Oaks gave, here is the link to the talk.

I think it is something that everyone should see. It really touched me having been divorced and now on the verge of getting married again. I think that everyone can take something from this talk. Even if it is just a little understanding for someone you know who has been divorced or for yourself. Please take the time to read it. It is amazing.

BIG Changes

I am getting married. Yup, you read that correctly, I am finally going to tie the knot again. I am so excited. The big day, August 27, 2011..... The man, a boy from my past actually, I have known him since high school. We went to 2 high school dances together, that fact was resolved after much debate and actually locating the pictures from the dances. We grew up in the same ward, and after years of not speaking we reconnected and fell in love.

He does have son from his previous marriage, he is 3 and a great little kid. He has captured the hearts of my family, and myself. The next chapter of my life is going to be a great one. I cannot wait to get it started. I am looking forward to all of the things that I miss about being married, and learning all of the things about Fred that I don't know yet. You never really know a person until you live together. I am mostly looking forward to eternity with him. He is a good man and a good father.

So, here is to the future. Whatever it holds, he and I will face it together.
